A collaboration between the head farmers at Calypso Farm and Ecology Center and local artist Somer Hahm brought this design of "Hen and Chicks" to the Calypso's sheep and chicken barn.

 

Tom and Susan, owners of Calypso, had a lovely children's book titled The Quilt Makers Gift  that inspired the design. Together the artist and the farmers selected the colors, and the barn quilt was constructed and painting in April 2021.
